Andy Reid Tops AP’s NFL Top 5 Head Coaches List for Second Year in a Row

NFL Seattle

For the second year in a row, Andy Reid has been named the top head coach in the NFL by the Associated Press. Reid, who is currently the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, has been at the helm of the team since 2013 and has led them to two Super Bowl appearances in that time.

Reid has been praised for his ability to develop and mentor young talent, as well as his ability to make adjustments during games. He has also been credited with helping the Chiefs become one of the most successful teams in the league.

The other four coaches on the list are New Orleans Saints’ Sean Payton, Seattle Seahawks’ Pete Carroll, Baltimore Ravens’ John Harbaugh, and San Francisco 49ers’ Kyle Shanahan. All five coaches have had tremendous success in their respective teams and have helped their teams reach the playoffs multiple times.

Reid’s success with the Chiefs has been nothing short of remarkable. He has led them to a Super Bowl victory in 2020 and has had them in contention for the playoffs every year since he took over. He has also been able to develop young talent such as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce into superstars.

Reid’s success is even more impressive when you consider that he is one of the oldest coaches in the NFL. At 61 years old, he is the oldest coach on the list and is still able to lead his team to success.

It is no surprise that Andy Reid has been named the top head coach in the NFL for the second year in a row. His ability to develop young talent, make adjustments during games, and lead his team to success has made him one of the most successful coaches in the league. It will be interesting to see if he can keep up this level of success for another year.
