The Washington State Women’s Basketball team had a huge victory over UC Davis on Saturday, December 14th, 2019. The Cougars defeated the Aggies by a final score of 73-60, improving their record to 9-1 on the season.

The Cougars were led by their star guard, Chanelle Molina, who scored a game-high 24 points and added seven rebounds and five assists. Molina was the catalyst for the Cougars’ offense, as she was able to penetrate the Aggies defense and create open shots for her teammates.

The Cougars also got a big contribution from their bench, as forward Bella Murekatete came off the bench to score 14 points and grab six rebounds. Murekatete was able to provide a spark off the bench, helping the Cougars pull away in the second half.

Washington State was able to take control of the game early, taking a 10-point lead into halftime. The Cougars then used a strong defensive effort in the second half to hold off the Aggies and secure the victory.

The win was a big one for the Cougars, as it improved their record to 9-1 on the season. The Cougars have now won eight of their last nine games and are looking like a force to be reckoned with in the Pac-12.

Washington State will now look to continue their winning ways as they take on Oregon State on December 18th. The Cougars will need another strong performance if they hope to keep their winning streak alive.
