Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Wins Home Run Derby, Julio Rodriguez Impresses

On July 8th, 2019, Major League Baseball held its annual Home Run Derby in Cleveland, Ohio. This year, the competition was especially exciting as two of the best young stars in the game, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Julio Rodriguez, faced off in the final round. In the end, it was Guerrero Jr. who emerged victorious, hitting a total of 91 home runs to take home the trophy.

Guerrero Jr., the son of Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero Sr., is one of the most highly-touted prospects in baseball. He has been compared to some of the greatest hitters in the history of the game, and his performance in the Home Run Derby only further solidified his reputation as a future star. Guerrero Jr. hit a total of 91 home runs throughout the competition, with an average distance of 420 feet. Guerrero Jr. proved why he is considered one of the best prospects in the game with his impressive performance, while Rodriguez showed why he is also considered one of the top prospects in baseball.
