UW Softball Takes on Louisiana in Super Regionals Game 2

The University of Washington softball team is set to take on the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns in Game 2 of the NCAA Super Regionals. The Huskies are coming off a thrilling 3-2 victory in Game 1, and are looking to secure a spot in the Women’s College World Series with a win in Game 2.

The Huskies have been on a roll this season, posting a 44-11 record and winning the Pac-12 Conference Championship. They are led by senior pitcher Gabbie Plain, who has been dominant in the circle all season long. Plain has posted an impressive 1.59 ERA and has struck out an incredible 230 batters in just over 200 innings of work.

The Ragin’ Cajuns have also had a successful season, posting a 42-15 record and winning the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
