The University of Washington (UW) football team welcomed 19 new Huskies on Early Signing Day, and the team is now looking forward to National Signing Day with the possibility of adding even more signees.

Early Signing Day is a relatively new event that allows high school seniors to sign their National Letter of Intent (NLI) to play college football before the traditional National Signing Day in February. The 19 new Huskies signed their NLI on December 18th, 2019, and included three 4-star recruits and 16 3-star recruits.

The Huskies have been able to add some talented players during Early Signing Day, but they still have some room to add more signees on National Signing Day in February. UW has the potential to add more 4-star recruits, as well as some 3-star recruits who could make an impact on the team.

UW Head Coach Jimmy Lake is excited about the possibility of adding more signees on National Signing Day. “We’re really excited about the 19 new Huskies we welcomed on Early Signing Day,” said Lake. “We’re looking forward to National Signing Day in February and the potential to add even more talented players to our team.”

UW is hoping to add more signees on National Signing Day to bolster their roster and continue to build a strong team for the future. With the potential to add more 4-star recruits, as well as some 3-star recruits, the Huskies are looking forward to a successful National Signing Day in February.
