Suns Defeat Warriors 108-104 in Season Opener Led by Booker and Durant

The Phoenix Suns opened the 2020-2021 NBA season with a thrilling 108-104 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. Led by the dynamic duo of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, the Suns were able to overcome a late deficit and secure the win in their first game of the season.

Booker led the way for the Suns, scoring a team-high 28 points while adding seven assists and five rebounds. He was especially effective in the fourth quarter, scoring 10 points in the final period to help the Suns close out the game. Durant, who was playing in his first game with the Suns after signing with them in the offseason, also had a strong performance, finishing with 23 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.

The Suns also received key contributions from Deandre Ayton and Mikal Bridges, who both scored in double figures. Ayton finished with 18 points and nine rebounds while Bridges added 14 points and five rebounds.

The Warriors were led by Stephen Curry, who scored a game-high 32 points and added five rebounds and four assists. Andrew Wiggins also had a solid performance, finishing with 22 points and seven rebounds.

The Suns will look to build on this win as they face the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night. The Warriors will look to bounce back as they take on the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night. It will be interesting to see how both teams fare in their second games of the season.
