The Seattle Seahawks have made some changes to their 53-man roster and practice squad. On Tuesday, the team announced that they have parted ways with defensive linemen Eli Faoliu and Branden Lindsey.

The Seahawks signed Faoliu as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon in April. He was expected to compete for a spot on the team’s defensive line rotation. Lindsey, meanwhile, was signed in May after spending the 2019 season with the Arizona Cardinals.

The Seahawks also made some changes to their practice squad. They added defensive lineman Bryan Mone and wide receiver Penny Hart. Mone was signed by the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan in April. Hart, meanwhile, was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia State in 2019.

The Seahawks have been busy this offseason, making several moves to improve their roster. They signed veteran defensive tackle Damon Harrison in March and traded for safety Quandre Diggs in October. They also added linebacker Bruce Irvin and cornerback Quinton Dunbar in free agency.

The Seahawks are looking to build on their 11-5 record from last season and make a deep run in the playoffs. These moves will help them do just that. The team will now have more depth on the defensive line and more options at wide receiver. With these changes, the Seahawks are looking to make a statement in 2020.
