Seattle Pacific University Volleyball Achieves 18-3 Record Despite Slow Start

The Seattle Pacific University volleyball team had a remarkable season, despite a slow start. Despite having a record of 4-3 after their first seven games, the Falcons went on to finish the season with an impressive 18-3 record.

The Falcons had a balanced attack, with four players averaging double-digit kills per game. Senior outside hitter Katelyn Peterson led the way with 4.3 kills per set, while senior middle blocker Jenna Bostick was second with 3.6 kills per set. Senior setter Kaitlyn Jones and freshman outside hitter Emily Boerger each averaged 2.7 kills per set.

The Falcons also had a strong defensive presence, led by senior libero Katelyn Pfeiffer. She led the team with 4.8 digs per set and was second on the team with 0.6 blocks per set. Senior middle blocker Jenna Bostick was second on the team with 3.4 digs per set, while freshman outside hitter Emily Boerger was third with 2.9 digs per set.

The Falcons also had a strong showing in the conference tournament, making it to the semifinals before falling to eventual champion Western Washington University. The Falcons finished the season ranked No. 14 in the nation and No. 3 in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

The Seattle Pacific University volleyball team had an impressive season, despite a slow start.
