The Seattle Mariners have been on a roll lately, and their winning streak reached 8 games with a 6-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night.

The Mariners got off to a hot start, scoring 3 runs in the first inning. They added another run in the third inning, and then two more in the fifth inning to take a commanding 6-0 lead.

The White Sox managed to get on the board in the seventh inning with a three-run homer, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Mariners’ early lead.

Seattle’s starting pitcher, Marco Gonzales, was impressive, going seven innings and allowing just three runs on five hits. He also struck out seven batters and walked none.

The Mariners’ offense was led by Kyle Seager, who went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Mitch Haniger also had a big night, going 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.

The win was the Mariners’ eighth in a row, and they are now 12-9 on the season. They are currently in second place in the American League West, just one game behind the Houston Astros.

The Mariners will look to keep their winning streak alive when they take on the White Sox again on Wednesday night. With another win, they could move into first place in the division.
