Noah Carter, a highly sought-after edge prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, has committed to the University of Washington Huskies. Carter, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound defensive end from Bellevue, Washington, is ranked as one of the top edge prospects in the country.

Carter is a four-star recruit and the No. 5 overall edge prospect in the country according to 247Sports. He had offers from some of the top programs in the nation, including Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Oregon. However, Carter chose to stay close to home and commit to the Huskies.

Carter has been a standout player since his freshman year of high school. He has been a force on the defensive line, recording double-digit sacks in each of his three seasons. He has also shown the ability to drop back into coverage and make plays in the passing game.

Carter is the latest in a long line of talented defensive players to come out of Washington. He joins a defense that already includes several talented players, including defensive tackle Levi Onwuzurike and linebacker Edefuan Ulofoshio. With Carter in the mix, the Huskies have one of the most talented defensive units in the nation.

Noah Carter is an exciting addition to the Washington Huskies and will be a key contributor on defense for years to come. His commitment is a huge win for the program and should help them continue their success in the Pac-12 and beyond.
