The University of Southern California Trojans put on an impressive performance on Saturday night, as they cruised to a 56-10 victory over the Stanford Cardinal. Led by freshman quarterback Caleb Williams, the Trojans scored 49 points in the first half alone, and never looked back.

Williams had a career night, throwing for a school-record five touchdowns and completing 18 of his 22 passes for 284 yards. He also ran for a touchdown, giving him six total scores on the night. Williams’ performance was the highlight of the game, as he was able to move the ball up and down the field with ease.

The Trojans’ defense also played well, holding Stanford to just 10 points. They forced two turnovers and sacked Cardinal quarterback Davis Mills four times. The Trojans’ defensive line was especially impressive, as they were able to get pressure on Mills all night long.

The win was USC’s sixth of the season and their third in a row. It was also their fourth consecutive win over Stanford, as they have now won seven of the last eight matchups between the two teams. The Trojans are now 6-0 in Pac-12 play and look like they could be a force to be reckoned with in the conference.

Caleb Williams’ performance was the story of the night, as he was able to lead the Trojans to a dominant victory over their rivals. With his impressive performance, he has solidified himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the Pac-12 and looks to be a key part of USC’s success going forward.
