No. 4 Iowa Women’s Basketball Team Defeats Minnesota 94-71, Caitlin Clark Sets Big Ten All-Time Assist Record

The No. 4 Iowa Women’s Basketball team had a huge victory over Minnesota on Sunday, February 21st. The Hawkeyes defeated the Golden Gophers 94-71 in a dominant performance.

Leading the way for Iowa was freshman guard Caitlin Clark, who set a Big Ten All-Time Assist record with 14 assists in the game. Clark also added 17 points and seven rebounds in the win. She has been a key contributor for the Hawkeyes all season, and her record-breaking performance was a major factor in the victory.

The rest of the Iowa team also played well, with four other players scoring in double figures.
