As the regular season of Major League Baseball (MLB) comes to a close, the excitement for the postseason is beginning to build. On Tuesday, October 1st, the MLB postseason will begin with twelve teams vying for the chance to be crowned World Series champions.

The winners of these series will then move on to the World Series, where they will compete for the title of World Series champions.
