Manchester City and Liverpool Secure Late Victories in Premier League Matchups.

It was a thrilling weekend of Premier League action as Manchester City and Liverpool both secured late victories in their respective matchups.

Manchester City faced off against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium, and the match was a tight affair throughout. The Citizens had the better of the chances in the first half, but Leicester held firm and went into the break level.

The second half saw Leicester take the lead through a Jamie Vardy penalty, but City responded almost immediately through a Riyad Mahrez strike. The game looked to be heading for a draw until Gabriel Jesus popped up with a late winner in the 90th minute to give City the three points.

Meanwhile, Liverpool faced off against West Ham at Anfield and it was another close game. The Reds had the better of the chances in the first half, but West Ham held firm and went into the break level.

The second half saw Liverpool take the lead through a Mohamed Salah strike, but West Ham responded almost immediately through a Michail Antonio equalizer. The game looked to be heading for a draw until Divock Origi popped up with a late winner in the 90th minute to give Liverpool the three points.

The victories for both Manchester City and Liverpool mean that they remain top of the Premier League table, with City two points ahead of Liverpool. Both teams will be looking to build on their respective victories as they look to secure the title this season.
