Long scores 25, Fairfield defeats Marist 73-54

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (AP) — TJ Long scored 25 points to help Fairfield defeat Marist 73-54 on Friday night.

Long added three steals for the Stags (6-7, 2-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Supreme Cook added 15 points while shooting 4 of 7 from the field and 7 for 10 from the line, and he also had seven rebounds. Jake Wojcik shot 4 for 8, including 1 for 4 from beyond the arc to finish with nine points.

The Red Foxes (4-8, 0-3) were led by Isaiah Brickner’s 15 points. Patrick Gardner added 13 points, while Stephane Ingo contributed eight points and 11 rebounds.
