The Kraken, Seattle’s newest NHL team, suffered their sixth consecutive loss in a close 2-1 defeat to the New Jersey Devils on Saturday night. Despite a strong effort from the Kraken, the Devils were able to capitalize on their opportunities and come away with the win.

The game was a tight one throughout, with both teams trading chances back and forth. The Devils opened the scoring in the first period when Nico Hischier scored on a breakaway. The Kraken responded in the second period when forward J.T. Brown scored off of a rebound to tie the game at 1-1. Unfortunately, the Devils were able to regain the lead late in the third period when Kyle Palmieri scored on a power play. The Kraken were unable to find an equalizer, and the Devils held on for the 2-1 victory.

The loss was a tough one for the Kraken, who have now lost six games in a row. Despite the losing streak, the team has shown flashes of potential and have been competitive in each game. The team is still adjusting to life in the NHL and will need some time to find their footing.

The Kraken will look to get back on track when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night. The game will be a good test for the team, as they look to get back in the win column. With some hard work and determination, the Kraken could be on their way to turning things around.
