Justin Fields Doubtful to Play Against Raiders Due to Dislocated Thumb

NFL Seattle

It looks like the San Francisco Raiders may be without their star quarterback Justin Fields this Sunday. Reports are coming in that Fields has dislocated his thumb and is highly doubtful to play against the Raiders.

Fields was injured during the first quarter of last week’s game against the Denver Broncos. He was seen clutching his right hand after being sacked by Denver’s Bradley Chubb. After being examined by the team’s medical staff, it was determined that Fields had suffered a dislocated thumb.

This is a major blow for the Raiders, who are already struggling to stay in the playoff hunt. Fields has been a key part of their offense this season, throwing for over 2,000 yards and 17 touchdowns. Without him in the lineup, the Raiders will have to rely on backup quarterback Ryan Tannehill to lead the team.

Tannehill has been a solid starter for the Raiders this season, but he is no Justin Fields. Tannehill has thrown for 1,400 yards and nine touchdowns this season. He will need to step up his game if the Raiders want to have any chance of making the playoffs.

The Raiders have not yet made an official announcement on Fields’ status for this Sunday’s game. However, it is looking increasingly unlikely that he will be able to play. If he is unable to go, it will be a huge loss for the Raiders and could potentially derail their playoff hopes.
