Seattle Sports, Storm

Jewell Loyd of the Seattle Storm was recently selected to start in the 2019 WNBA All-Star Game. This is a huge accomplishment for Loyd, who is in her fifth season with the Storm.

Loyd is one of the most talented players in the WNBA and has been a consistent force for the Storm since she was drafted in 2015. She has been selected to the All-Star game four times and is the first player in franchise history to be selected as a starter.

Loyd is having an incredible season so far, averaging 19.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. She is currently third in the league in scoring and has been a key factor in the Storm’s success this season.

The All-Star game will be held on July 27th in Las Vegas, Nevada. Loyd will be joined by fellow starters Sue Bird, Elena Delle Donne, A’ja Wilson, and Brittney Griner. The reserves will be announced later this week.

This is an incredible honor for Loyd and a testament to her hard work and dedication to the game. She has been a leader on and off the court for the Storm and is an inspiration to many young female athletes.

Loyd and the Storm have been one of the best teams in the WNBA this season and are looking to make a deep run in the playoffs. With Loyd leading the way, they have a great chance of making it to the finals.

Congratulations to Jewell Loyd on her selection to the 2019 WNBA All-Star Game!
