Seattle Sports

It was an exciting day for college football fans as James Madison, Jacksonville State, and Minnesota were the last three teams to receive bowl game invitations. This is a great accomplishment for all three teams, who have worked hard to get to this point.

James Madison, located in Harrisonburg, Virginia, is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association and has been playing football since 1972. The team has won two national championships and has been to the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision playoffs five times. This will be their first bowl game appearance since the 2011 season.

Jacksonville State is located in Jacksonville, Alabama and is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference. The Gamecocks have been playing football since 1945 and have won two national championships. This will be their first bowl game appearance since the 2017 season.

Minnesota is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and is a member of the Big Ten Conference. The Golden Gophers have been playing football since 1882 and have won seven national championships. This will be their first bowl game appearance since the 2016 season.

These three teams have worked hard to get to this point and it is great to see them rewarded with bowl game invitations. It will be exciting to see how they perform in their respective bowl games and hopefully they can bring home some victories. Congratulations to James Madison, Jacksonville State, and Minnesota!
