It’s official, Jaden Hicks is taking his talents to the NFL. The former Washington State University Cougar safety has announced his entry into the 2021 NFL Draft.

Hicks, a native of Tacoma, Washington, was a standout safety for the Cougars. He was a four-year starter and three-time All-Pac 12 selection. During his time at WSU, Hicks racked up an impressive stat line of 202 tackles, 8 interceptions, and 3 forced fumbles.

Hicks is now looking to take his game to the next level. He is projected to be a mid-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and could be an immediate contributor on special teams. Hicks has the size and speed to play safety at the next level and his experience in the Pac 12 should help him make the transition to the NFL.

Hicks is just one of many Cougars that have declared for the 2021 NFL Draft. He joins teammate Dezmon Patmon, who declared for the draft earlier this month. With two players from the same school entering the draft, it shows just how talented the Cougars are and how they can produce NFL-caliber talent.

The 2021 NFL Draft is set to begin on April 29th. It will be interesting to see where Hicks ends up and how he will fare in the NFL. All Cougar fans will be rooting for him and hoping that he can make an impact at the next level.
