The Eastern Washington Eagles dominated the first half of their game against the Cal Poly Mustangs, leading to a 48-13 victory on Saturday. The Eagles’ offense was unstoppable in the first half, scoring 28 points while holding Cal Poly to just three.

Eastern Washington quarterback Eric Barriere was the star of the show, throwing for three touchdowns and running for another. He finished the day with over 300 yards passing and four total touchdowns. His favorite target was wide receiver Nsimba Webster, who caught two of Barriere’s touchdown passes and finished with over 100 yards receiving.

The Eagles’ defense was just as impressive in the first half, forcing two turnovers and holding Cal Poly to just three points. Linebacker Ketner Kupp led the way with two sacks and a forced fumble.

The second half was a different story, as Cal Poly scored 10 points and held Eastern Washington to just 20. But the Eagles’ first-half dominance was too much for the Mustangs to overcome, and Eastern Washington cruised to a 48-13 victory.
