On Tuesday night, the Utah Jazz hosted the Dallas Mavericks in a matchup that was sure to be an exciting one. Little did anyone know that the Jazz would be led to a 127-90 victory by point guard Mike Clarkson, who recorded Utah’s first triple-double since 2008.

Clarkson had a career night, finishing with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. He was the catalyst for the Jazz offense, pushing the tempo and finding open teammates for easy buckets. His ability to get into the lane and find open shooters was key to the Jazz’s success.

The Jazz were also aided by a strong performance from center Rudy Gobert, who finished with 17 points and 13 rebounds. Gobert was a force on the defensive end, blocking shots and altering shots in the paint. His presence in the paint was a major factor in the Jazz’s victory.

The Mavericks were led by guard Luka Doncic, who finished with 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Doncic was able to get to the rim at will, but his lack of help from his teammates ultimately doomed the Mavericks.

The Jazz’s victory was a team effort, but it was Clarkson’s triple-double that really sealed the deal. It was a historic night for Utah, and one that will be remembered for years to come.
