The Atlanta Braves are on a roll! On Tuesday night, the Braves defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers for the sixth consecutive game, thanks to a two-run homer from outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. in the bottom of the sixth inning. This marked Acuña’s third consecutive game with a home run against the Dodgers, making him the first player in Major League Baseball history to accomplish this feat.

The Braves have been dominating the Dodgers since the start of the season, winning nine out of their first eleven meetings. The Braves are now in first place in the National League East division and have the best record in all of baseball at 32-21.

Acuña has been a huge part of the Braves’ success this season. He is currently batting .310 with 11 home runs and 28 RBIs. His performance against the Dodgers has been especially impressive, as he has now hit six home runs in just eleven games against them.

The Braves’ pitching staff has also been stellar this season, with starters Max Fried, Ian Anderson, and Charlie Morton all having ERAs under 3.00. The bullpen has been equally impressive, with closer Mark Melancon recording nine saves so far this season.

The Braves are looking like a force to be reckoned with this season, and it looks like they will be a tough team to beat. With Acuña continuing to hit home runs and the pitching staff performing well, the Braves look poised to make a deep run in the playoffs this year.
