It was an exciting day at the LPGA Shanghai tournament as American Angel Yin tied for the third-round lead. Yin, who is only 19 years old, shot a 6-under 66 on Saturday to put her at 13-under 203 for the tournament. She is tied with South Korea’s Inbee Park, who shot a 5-under 67 in the third round.

Yin started the day with a bogey on the first hole, but she quickly recovered with birdies on holes 3 and 4. She then went on to make four more birdies on the back nine, including a chip-in from the rough on the par-4 16th hole. Her performance was impressive considering the windy conditions and the difficult course setup.

Yin is looking to become the first American to win the LPGA Shanghai tournament since Christina Kim in 2006. She is also looking to become the first American to win a tournament on the LPGA Tour since Stacy Lewis won the Cambia Portland Classic in June of 2015.

Yin has had a strong season so far, with four top-10 finishes in her last five starts. She is currently ranked No. 22 in the world rankings and No. 10 in the Race to CME Globe standings.

The final round of the LPGA Shanghai tournament will be played on Sunday, and Yin will be looking to make history by becoming the first American to win the tournament in over 10 years. It will be an exciting finish, and all eyes will be on Yin as she looks to make her mark on the LPGA Tour.
