The Stanford Cardinal men’s basketball team had a great victory against the Idaho Vandals on Saturday, winning 82-64. The Cardinal were led by the performances of forwards Filip Stojakovic and Jaiden Raynaud, who both had impressive games.
Stojakovic was the star of the show, scoring a game-high 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field. He also added 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals in the victory. Stojakovic was efficient and effective all game long, making his presence felt on both ends of the court.
Raynaud also had a great game, finishing with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field. He also grabbed 7 rebounds and dished out 4 assists in the win. Raynaud was a key contributor for the Cardinal, helping them to a comfortable victory.
The rest of the team also played well, with guard Daejon Davis contributing 13 points and 5 assists and forward Oscar da Silva adding 11 points and 6 rebounds. The Cardinal shot an impressive 54.5% from the field and 42.9% from three-point range in the win.
The victory was a great team effort from Stanford, and they will look to continue their winning ways in their next game against Oregon State. Stojakovic and Raynaud will be key players for the Cardinal, and if they can continue to play at a high level, Stanford should be in good shape to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
