Hockey, Kraken, Sports Seattle

The Kraken and the Kings faced off in a thrilling shootout on Wednesday night, with the Kings ultimately emerging victorious. Despite a heroic effort from Kraken goalie, Maximilian Jones, the Kings were able to score the winning goal in the shootout.

The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams trading chances throughout the night. The Kraken had the better of the chances in the first period, but the Kings were able to take the lead in the second period. The Kraken responded with a goal of their own to tie the game at one.

The third period was a defensive battle, with neither team able to break through. The game went to overtime, and then eventually to a shootout.

Maximilian Jones was outstanding in goal for the Kraken, making several key saves throughout the game. He was especially impressive in the shootout, stopping all but one of the Kings’ shots. Unfortunately, his heroics weren’t enough to secure a win for the Kraken.

The Kings’ winning goal was scored by forward Tyler Smith, who was able to beat Jones with a low shot to the far post. It was a heartbreaking loss for the Kraken, but they can take solace in the fact that Jones kept them in the game until the very end.

The loss was a tough one for the Kraken, but they will look to bounce back in their next game against the Sharks. With Jones in net, they will be confident of getting back to winning ways.
