The Golden State Warriors were victorious in their matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night, winning 118-114. Klay Thompson was the star of the night, leading the Warriors with 28 points.
The Warriors started off strong, outscoring the Trail Blazers 32-25 in the first quarter. They continued to build their lead throughout the game, and at one point had a 15-point advantage. However, the Trail Blazers fought back in the fourth quarter, cutting the lead to just four points with under a minute left in the game.
Fortunately for the Warriors, Klay Thompson was able to come up big when they needed him most. He scored eight points in the fourth quarter, including a clutch three-pointer with just over a minute left that sealed the victory for Golden State. In addition to his 28 points, Thompson also had four rebounds and three assists.
Stephen Curry also had a strong performance for the Warriors, finishing with 24 points and seven assists. Draymond Green had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Damian Lillard led the Trail Blazers with 27 points and seven assists. CJ McCollum added 22 points and seven rebounds.
The Warriors will look to continue their winning ways when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.
