As the Major League Baseball All-Star Game approaches, volunteers in South Downtown Seattle have been hard at work sprucing up the area. On Saturday, July 6th, over 100 volunteers gathered to help beautify the neighborhood in preparation for the big event.
The volunteers were organized by the South Downtown Seattle Alliance, a local organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the area. The volunteers worked together to clean up the streets, paint over graffiti, and plant flowers. They also worked to create a mural that will be displayed in the area to commemorate the All-Star Game.
The volunteers came from all walks of life, including local businesses, community organizations, and individuals who simply wanted to help out. The Alliance was overwhelmed by the response and was grateful for the support of the community.
