USC Basketball: JuJu Watkins and Isaiah Calendar Showing Early Promise as Top Recruits

The USC Trojans men’s basketball team is off to a great start this season with the help of two of their top recruits, JuJu Watkins and Isaiah Calendar. Both freshmen have been making an immediate impact on the court and are showing a lot of promise for the future of the program.

JuJu Watkins is a 6’7″ forward from Los Angeles, California. He was ranked as the No. 4 player in the state and No. 27 nationally by ESPN. He has been a key contributor for the Trojans so far this season, averaging 11.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. He has also shown great versatility, playing both inside and outside, and has been a great defender.

Isaiah Calendar is a 6’5″ guard from Las Vegas, Nevada. He was ranked as the No. 3 player in the state and No. 33 nationally by ESPN. He has been a great asset for the Trojans, averaging 10.2 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. He has been a great shooter, making 37% of his three-point attempts, and has also been a great defender.

Both JuJu Watkins and Isaiah Calendar have been great additions to the USC Trojans men’s basketball team this season. They have both shown a lot of promise and have been key contributors to the team’s success so far. With their help, the Trojans look to be in good shape for the rest of the season and beyond.
