USA Women’s Hockey Team Defeats Japan 7-1 in Opening Match of World Championship

On April 7th, the USA Women’s Hockey Team defeated Japan 7-1 in the opening match of the 2021 World Championship. This victory marked the first time the USA Women’s Hockey Team has won a World Championship game since 2017.

The USA Women’s Hockey Team started off strong, scoring three goals in the first period. They continued to dominate throughout the game, scoring four more goals in the second and third periods.
