Uchenna Nwosu of Seattle Seahawks Expected to Undergo Season-Ending Surgery for Pectoral Injury

It’s been a tough season for the Seattle Seahawks, and it just got a little tougher. Uchenna Nwosu, the team’s starting linebacker, is expected to undergo season-ending surgery for a pectoral injury.

Nwosu was injured in the Seahawks’ Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Rams. He was initially listed as questionable for the remainder of the game, but was eventually ruled out. After further evaluation, it was determined that he would need surgery to repair the damage.

The loss of Nwosu is a big blow to the Seahawks defense. He had been a key contributor this season, recording 35 tackles and two sacks. His presence in the middle of the defense will be missed.

The team has yet to announce who will replace Nwosu in the starting lineup. It’s likely that either Shaquem Griffin or Cody Barton will get the nod. Both players have seen significant playing time this season, and should be able to step in and fill the void left by Nwosu.

It’s never easy to lose a player to injury, especially one as important as Nwosu. The Seahawks will certainly miss his presence on the field, but they will have to find a way to move forward without him. It’s a tough situation, but one that the team will have to face head-on.
