It was a star-studded night at the World Series on October 27th, but one celebrity in particular caught the eye of many fans. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was spotted in the stands at Game 5 of the World Series between the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros.
Kelce, who is a native of the Kansas City area, was wearing a Royals jersey and cheering on his hometown team. He was seen talking to other fans and taking pictures with them. He was also seen taking selfies with his phone and posting them to his social media accounts.
Kelce wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance, however. Country music star Brad Paisley and actor/comedian Rob Riggle were also in attendance. But one celebrity was noticeably absent – Taylor Swift.
Swift, who is a huge baseball fan, had been expected to attend the game. She had even posted on her social media accounts that she was looking forward to attending. But for some reason, she did not make an appearance.
It’s unclear why Swift didn’t show up, but it could have been due to her busy schedule. She recently released her new album, Lover, and is currently on tour promoting it. She also recently announced that she will be performing at the American Music Awards on November 24th.
Regardless of why she didn’t show up, fans were still excited to see Travis Kelce at the World Series. He is a beloved figure in Kansas City and his presence at the game was a reminder of the city’s love for its sports teams.
