The 2020 PGA Tour season ended with a bang as Thomas Glover finished runner-up at the Wyndham Championship. Glover, who had been playing consistently well all season, was in contention for the win throughout the tournament. He ultimately fell just short, finishing one stroke behind winner Si Woo Kim.
Glover had a strong start to the tournament, shooting a 5-under 65 in the first round. He followed that up with a 4-under 66 in the second round and a 3-under 67 in the third round to put himself in contention for the win heading into the final round.
In the final round, Glover put up a valiant effort, shooting a 4-under 66. He was able to make up some ground on the leaderboard, but it wasn’t enough to overtake Kim, who shot a 5-under 65 in the final round.
Glover’s runner-up finish at the Wyndham Championship capped off a strong season for the young golfer. He finished with five top-10 finishes, including two runner-up finishes and one win. He also earned over $2 million in prize money this season, which was good enough for 30th on the PGA Tour money list.
Overall, Glover had a great season and his runner-up finish at the Wyndham Championship was a fitting end to it. He will now look to build on this success as he heads into the 2021 PGA Tour season.
