The Seattle Seahawks suffered a tough loss in Week 5 of the NFL season, falling to the Cincinnati Bengals 17-13. The Seahawks had a chance to win the game late in the fourth quarter, but failed to convert on a fourth down and one play.
The Seahawks offense struggled all game, only managing to score one touchdown. Quarterback Russell Wilson threw for just 177 yards and one interception. He also fumbled twice, losing one of them. Running back Chris Carson was held to just 43 yards rushing and no touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the Bengals offense was able to move the ball effectively against the Seahawks defense. Quarterback Andy Dalton threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns. He also had no interceptions or fumbles. Running back Joe Mixon ran for 93 yards and a touchdown.
The Seahawks defense played well, holding the Bengals to just 17 points. Linebacker Bobby Wagner led the team with 11 tackles and a sack. Safety Bradley McDougald had an interception and a fumble recovery.
The Seahawks will look to bounce back in Week 6 when they take on the Cleveland Browns. They will need to find a way to get their offense going if they want to have any chance of winning. The defense will also need to continue playing well if they want to keep the game close.
