The Saint Martin’s Saints were unable to contain the Huskies’ high-powered offense in their exhibition game on Saturday night, losing by a score of 77-63. The Huskies’ offense was too much for the Saints to handle, as they shot an impressive 56.3% from the field and 45.2% from three-point range.

The Huskies had four players score in double figures, led by guard Joe Smith who scored a game-high 21 points. Smith was efficient from the field, shooting 8-of-13 overall and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. He also added five rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the win.

The Saints were led by forward Mark Johnson who scored 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Johnson also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out two assists in the loss. Guard Ryan Davis added 12 points off the bench for the Saints, while center Chris Jones chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds.

The Huskies outrebounded the Saints 37-31 and had 17 assists to Saint Martin’s 11. The Huskies also forced the Saints into 18 turnovers, which they converted into 22 points.

The Saints will look to rebound from this loss when they take on the Wildcats in their next exhibition game on Tuesday night. The Saints will need to find a way to contain the Huskies’ high-powered offense if they want to have a chance at winning.
