On Saturday, the Portland State Vikings pulled off an incredible comeback win over Northern Colorado, 27-23. Led by quarterback Jalani Chachere, the Vikings were able to overcome a 17-point deficit in the second half to secure the victory.

Chachere was the star of the show, throwing for four touchdowns and no interceptions. He finished the game with a total of 294 yards passing and a completion rate of 67%. His performance was especially impressive considering the Vikings had been struggling offensively all season.

The first touchdown of the game came in the first quarter when Chachere connected with wide receiver Devin Culp for a 20-yard score. The second touchdown came in the second quarter when Chachere found tight end Ryan Johnson for a 10-yard touchdown.

The third touchdown came in the third quarter when Chachere threw a perfect pass to wide receiver Jevon Jones for a 25-yard score. The fourth and final touchdown came in the fourth quarter when Chachere found wide receiver Cole Turner for a 15-yard score.

The Vikings defense also played a big role in the win, holding Northern Colorado to just two field goals in the second half. The defense was able to force two turnovers, including an interception by safety Kaleb Hayes late in the fourth quarter that sealed the victory.

The win was an important one for the Vikings, who are now 4-2 on the season. Chachere’s performance was a big reason why they were able to pull off the comeback victory. His four touchdown passes were a career high and he showed why he is one of the best quarterbacks in the Big Sky Conference.

The Vikings will look to continue their winning ways next week when they take on Idaho State. With Chachere leading the way, they will be looking to build on this impressive win and make a push for a Big Sky Conference championship.
