The North Dakota State Bison men’s basketball team had a big win on Saturday night, defeating the Portland Pilots 78-67. The Bison were powered by a strong performance from senior guard Vinnie Morgan, who scored 16 points and was a key contributor to the victory.

The Bison started the game off strong, taking an early lead and never looking back. They were able to keep the lead throughout the first half, going into halftime with a 38-30 advantage. In the second half, the Bison continued to play strong defense and were able to extend their lead to double digits.

Morgan was a big part of the Bison’s success, as he scored 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field. He also had four assists and three rebounds in the game. His performance was instrumental in helping the Bison secure the victory.

The Bison also received contributions from other players, including junior forward Rocky Kreuser, who had 14 points and seven rebounds, and senior guard Tyson Ward, who had 11 points and five rebounds.

The win was a big one for the Bison, as they improved their record to 13-3 overall and 4-1 in conference play. They will look to continue their winning ways when they face off against the Denver Pioneers on Tuesday night.

With Morgan leading the way, the Bison have been playing some great basketball lately and will look to keep it up as they continue their season. If they can continue to get strong performances from Morgan and other players, they should be able to make a deep run in the conference tournament.
