Norma Hunt, widow of Kansas City Chiefs founder Lamar Hunt, passed away on June 20th, 2020 at the age of 85. Norma was a beloved figure in the Chiefs organization and was the first woman to attend all 52 Super Bowls.
Norma and Lamar Hunt were married for over 60 years before his death in 2006. Norma was a devoted wife and mother to their four children, Lamar Jr., Sharron, Clark, and Daniel. She was also an avid supporter of the Chiefs and was a fixture at Arrowhead Stadium for many years.
Norma was a pioneer in the sports world. She was the first woman to attend all 52 Super Bowls, beginning with Super Bowl I in 1967. She was also one of the first women to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015.
The Hunt family has been an integral part of the Chiefs organization since its inception in 1960. Lamar Hunt founded the team and Norma was a constant presence at games and events. She was a passionate fan and her presence will be deeply missed by the Chiefs organization and fans alike.
