The Washington Huskies softball team pulled off an incredible feat this weekend, sweeping the No. 18 Arizona Wildcats with a walkoff home run from Baylee Klingler. The Huskies had been struggling to find their footing in the Pac-12 conference, but this series win was a huge boost for the team.

The first game of the series was a close one, with the Huskies edging out the Wildcats 4-3. Washington had a strong offensive performance, with Klingler and Sis Bates both hitting home runs. The Huskies also got great pitching from Gabbie Plain, who allowed just three runs over seven innings.

The second game of the series was even closer, with the Huskies coming out on top 2-1. Plain was again excellent in the circle, allowing just one run over seven innings. The offense was led by Bates and Klingler, who both had two hits in the game.

The rubber match of the series was an absolute thriller, with the game going into extra innings tied at two. In the bottom of the tenth inning, Klingler stepped up to the plate and hit a walkoff home run to give the Huskies the win. It was an incredible moment for Klingler and the entire team, as it secured the series sweep for Washington.

The Huskies have now won four of their last five games, and this series sweep over Arizona is a huge confidence boost for the team. With Klingler leading the way at the plate and Plain dominating in the circle, Washington looks poised to make some noise in the Pac-12 conference this season.
