The win was a huge boost for the Wolverines, who are now 8-2 on the season and have a chance to make it to a bowl game. The Spartans, on the other hand, are now 4-6 and will need to win their last two games in order to become bowl eligible.

Overall, it was a great performance by the Wolverines, who were able to shut out their rivals and put together a complete team effort. McCarthy’s three touchdown passes in the first half set the tone for the rest of the game and showed why he is one of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten. With two more games left in the season, Michigan will be looking to continue their winning ways and make a strong push for a bowl game.
