The Oregon State Beavers have done it again. On Saturday, the 15th ranked Beavers defeated the 18th ranked UCLA Bruins 36-24 in a thrilling game at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon. The Beavers were led by quarterback DJ Uiagalelei and running back Ryan Cooper Jr., who both had outstanding performances.
Uiagalelei was impressive in his first start for the Beavers, throwing for 288 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown to help seal the victory for Oregon State. Uiagalelei showed poise in the pocket and made some great throws to keep the offense moving. He also showed off his athleticism by running for key first downs and extending drives.
Cooper Jr. was also instrumental in the victory, rushing for a career-high 152 yards and two touchdowns. He was able to find holes in the UCLA defense and break off big runs to keep the Beavers offense moving.
