The University of Utah Utes opened their season with a bang, defeating the Florida Gators 24-11 in a hard-fought victory. The Utes were led by a strong performance from quarterback Bryson Barnes, who threw for two touchdowns and ran for another.
Barnes was the star of the show, completing 16 of his 22 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown, giving the Utes a commanding lead in the second half. Barnes was able to spread the ball around to multiple receivers, as seven different players caught passes from him.

The Utes were able to come away with a big win in their season opener thanks to a strong performance from Bryson Barnes and the defense.
