The No. 1 ranked Kansas Jayhawks had a dominant performance on Saturday, defeating the North Carolina Central Eagles 99-56. The Jayhawks were led by freshman center Hunter Dickinson, who scored 21 points in the victory.

Kansas jumped out to an early lead, scoring the first 10 points of the game and never looking back. Dickinson was a major factor in the Jayhawks’ success, as he was able to get to the rim at will and finish with ease. He also added seven rebounds and two blocks in the victory.

The Jayhawks had four other players score in double figures, including guard Ochai Agbaji, who had 16 points and five assists. Forward Jalen Wilson had 15 points and seven rebounds, while guard Christian Braun had 14 points and four assists. Forward David McCormack rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points and five rebounds.

The Jayhawks shot a blistering 58 percent from the field and were able to spread the ball around, recording 20 assists on 36 made field goals. They also out-rebounded the Eagles 38-25 and forced 18 turnovers.

The victory was a complete team effort for Kansas, as they were able to get contributions from all over the court. Dickinson’s 21 points led the way, but it was the balanced attack that allowed them to cruise to a 99-56 victory. With this win, the Jayhawks remain undefeated on the season and look to continue their success as they face off against No. 4 Baylor on Tuesday.
