The No. 1 ranked Georgia Bulldogs put on a show Saturday night in Jacksonville, Florida, as they dominated the Florida Gators 43-20 in the annual ‘Cocktail Party’ rivalry game. The Bulldogs were led by two touchdowns each from quarterback Jake Fromm and running back D’Andre Swift.

Fromm was efficient in the passing game, completing 18 of 26 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns. He also added a rushing touchdown, which put the Bulldogs up 30-13 late in the third quarter. Swift was the star of the show, however, as he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on just 14 carries.

The Bulldogs defense was also impressive, holding the Gators to just 20 points and forcing three turnovers. Linebacker Monty Rice led the way with nine tackles and a forced fumble. Safety Richard LeCounte also had a big game, recording seven tackles and an interception.

The Gators offense struggled all night, with quarterback Kyle Trask completing just 18 of 33 passes for 169 yards and two interceptions. Running back Lamical Perine was the lone bright spot for the Gators, rushing for 105 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries.

The Bulldogs now have a 7-0 record and are firmly in control of the SEC East race. They will face off against Auburn next week in what should be an exciting matchup. The Gators will look to bounce back against Vanderbilt next week in an attempt to salvage their season.
