The Georgia Bulldogs had a big win on Saturday, defeating the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 31-23. The Bulldogs were led by quarterback Jake Fromm and running back D’Andre Swift, but it was freshman quarterback Justin Milton who stole the show.

Milton ran for 156 yards and two touchdowns, both of which came in the second half. He also completed 12 of his 15 passes for 105 yards. His performance was instrumental in helping the Bulldogs secure the win.

The Bulldogs started off strong, scoring a touchdown on their first drive of the game. Fromm found tight end Eli Wolf for a 21-yard touchdown pass to give the Bulldogs an early 7-0 lead. Georgia Tech responded with a field goal, but the Bulldogs answered with another touchdown, this time on a three-yard run by Swift.

The Yellow Jackets then scored two touchdowns to take a 17-14 lead into halftime. In the second half, however, Milton took over. He scored on a nine-yard run to give the Bulldogs a 21-17 lead, and then added another touchdown on a one-yard run to extend the lead to 28-17.

The Yellow Jackets scored another touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but it was too little too late. The Bulldogs held on for the 31-23 win.

Milton’s performance was impressive, and it was a key factor in the Bulldogs’ victory. His 156 rushing yards were the most by a Georgia freshman since Herschel Walker in 1980. He also showed poise and confidence in the pocket, completing 12 of his 15 passes for 105 yards.

The Bulldogs will look to continue their winning ways next week when they take on the Florida Gators. If Milton can continue to play at a high level, the Bulldogs should have no problem securing another victory.
