NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tommy Murr’s 14 points helped Lipscomb defeat Bellarmine 69-49 on Saturday night.
Murr shot 5 for 8, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc for the Bisons (13-8, 5-3 Atlantic Sun Conference). Matthew Schner added 12 points while finishing 5 of 7 from the floor, and they also had eight rebounds. A.J McGinnis was 4 of 10 shooting (4 for 9 from distance) to finish with 12 points.
The Knights (9-12, 4-4) were led by Ben Johnson, who posted 13 points. Bellarmine also got 10 points, seven rebounds and two steals from Juston Betz. Alec Pfriem also put up 10 points and four assists.
