On Tuesday night, the Seattle Mariners defeated the Detroit Tigers in a thrilling game that was highlighted by a strong performance from former teammate Julio Rodriguez. Rodriguez, who was acquired by the Mariners in a trade with the Tigers earlier this season, had a huge night at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored.

The Tigers made things interesting in the bottom of the ninth inning, loading the bases with no outs. However, Mariners closer Edwin Diaz was able to get out of the jam, striking out three batters in a row to end the game and secure the victory for Seattle.
The win was especially sweet for Rodriguez, who was playing against his former team for the first time since being traded. He finished the night 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored, and was a key contributor to the Mariners’ victory.
The Mariners will look to continue their winning ways as they take on the Tigers again on Wednesday night. With Rodriguez continuing to provide a spark at the plate, Seattle will look to build on their impressive victory and keep their playoff hopes alive.
