2020-21 Season

Manchester United have reported record-breaking revenues of $783.5 million for the 2020-21 Premier League season, making them the first club to ever reach this milestone.

The Red Devils have had a remarkable season, finishing second in the league and reaching the UEFA Champions League final. This success has been reflected in their financial performance, with the club’s revenues increasing by an impressive 11.4% compared to last season.

The majority of the revenue came from broadcasting rights, with the club receiving $450 million from the Premier League and UEFA Champions League. This was supplemented by commercial revenue of $233.5 million, which was driven by new partnerships with Adidas, Chevrolet, and other sponsors. Matchday revenue also increased by 5.7%, to $100 million.

The record-breaking revenues have allowed Manchester United to invest heavily in their squad, signing players such as Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani. The club has also invested in their infrastructure, with plans to build a new training facility and expand Old Trafford.

Manchester United’s success is a testament to their ability to attract and retain top talent, as well as their ability to generate revenue through commercial partnerships. The club’s financial performance is likely to continue to improve in the coming years, as they look to build on their success both on and off the pitch.
