The Los Angeles Rams have been given a huge boost with the return of wide receiver Cooper Kupp to practice. Kupp has been out since Week 8 with a knee injury, but is now back in the fold and has entered the IR activation window.
Kupp was a big part of the Rams’ offense before his injury, leading the team in receptions (40) and receiving yards (566). He was also second on the team with four touchdown receptions. His return to practice is a welcome sight for the Rams, who have struggled to find consistent production at the wide receiver position since his injury.
The Rams have been able to stay afloat in the NFC West without Kupp, but his return will provide a much-needed spark to the offense. Kupp’s ability to stretch the field and make plays in the passing game will be a huge asset for quarterback Jared Goff and the rest of the offense.
Kupp’s return to practice is a positive sign that he could be back on the field soon. The Rams have three weeks to activate him from IR, so it’s possible he could be back in action as soon as Week 14.
The Rams have been able to stay in contention in the NFC West without Kupp, but his return will give them a huge boost. His presence on the field will open up opportunities for Goff and the rest of the offense, and should help the Rams make a run at the playoffs.
