Football fans everywhere are excited to hear that Julian Edelman will be joining Fox NFL Kickoff as an analyst. The former New England Patriot wide receiver and Super Bowl MVP announced the news on Twitter earlier this week.
Edelman will be joining the show for the 2020 NFL season, which kicks off on September 10th. He will be joining the show alongside host Charissa Thompson and analysts Colin Cowherd, Dave Wannstedt, and Peter Schrager.
Edelman is no stranger to the NFL, having played 11 seasons with the Patriots and winning three Super Bowls. He was also named Super Bowl MVP in 2019, after leading the Patriots to a 13-3 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
The 33-year-old is excited to join the show and share his insights with viewers. “I’m looking forward to joining Fox NFL Kickoff and being part of the team,” Edelman said in a statement. “I’m excited to share my knowledge of the game and provide analysis from a player’s perspective.”
Edelman is also looking forward to connecting with fans, saying, “I’m also looking forward to connecting with fans and giving them a unique insight into the game.”
The show will air on Fox Sports 1 every Sunday morning at 11am ET, leading up to Fox NFL Sunday at 12pm ET. Fans can look forward to hearing Edelman’s insights on the games and players each week.
